Home Sweet Home
Posted: 5th December 2011
Hi everyone, since my last blog lots of things have been happening, unfortunately on the golf course very little has been happening!
Having approached the home strait to the season in an optimistic and fresh frame of mind I seemed to not recover the reins which I had dropped during my time off. My performances in the last few months haven't lived up to expectations, however, things aren't that far away and I'm already looking forward to next season.
There were a few highlights in some of the recent events with a best of the day score of 69 at Valderrama in round two, however, the first round contained two three putts, a four putt and a five putt! I was heading... MORE »
Time Out

Hello there, I thought it was time for a bit of a catch up whilst I'm taking a four week break out of my schedule.
The week following my last blog saw me accomplish the best result of my season so far where I finished along way behind winner Alex Noren in the Nordea Masters, but still managed to claim second spot. I was a little off the pace going into the last round, however a windy day blew me in the right direction and I have to say it was one of the best rounds I've ever played.
The following week was the Irish Open and as a past winner I was keen to put in a good performance, however, I seemed to... MORE »

Hi everyone, sorry it's been a while but I've been busy on and off the course recently.
On the golf course results have been steady and I'm pleased with my game overall despite not really getting myself into contention nor posting a top five finish.
It's been nice to have the tour back in mainland Europe and closer to home. Most recently I played in the Barclays Scottish Open up at Castle Stuart just outside Inverness - it was a stunning location and a wonderful golf course, however the quality of the weather didn't match the surroundings. It became a rather long week even though the tournament was reduced to three rounds due to incessant rain. I was pleased with my game... MORE »
On The Drip

Hi there everyone, I thought I'd report in before heading off on my travels again!
Since my last blog I've completed the Middle Eastern swing where I recorded my first top ten of the year when I finished in a tie for 9th in the Commercialbank Qatar Masters. In Dubai I made the halfway cut but managed to make little progress up the leaderboard over the weekend. Then came India.......... which almost never happened, due to the fact on Thursday morning I required an intravenous drip to combat severe dehydration. A good opening round followed by another go on the drip put me in a good position to challenge for the title. However, the long six week trip had taken its... MORE »
A Steady Start

Hello everyone and Happy New Year. I know this blog has been a long time coming but I’ve finally got something positive to report so I thought I’d give you an update.
Last season didn’t quite finished the way I had hoped with me ending the season in 64th position in the Race to Dubai therefore not managing to get into the top 60, and unfortunately missing out on the Dubai World Championship.
I had some time off over Christmas and have been working with Dave Roberts on my fitness and am making some progress in that area.
Also just before Christmas I went over to Florence in Italy to play in the Pontevecchio Challenge which was good fun. It involved hitting golf... MORE »
